Terms of Service

Last updated: October 27, 2026

Agreement

By purchasing or using the Code the Cloud course, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the course or this website.

The course

The course is self-paced and delivered online. It consists of lessons, written labs and downloadable materials according to the plan you purchase. Access is granted after payment. There are no live sessions, cohorts or schedules.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential.
  • Your account is personal. Sharing access with others is not permitted.
  • Please keep your email address up to date so you receive important notices.

Licence to use the materials

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course materials for your own learning. You may use the code from labs and projects in your own work and at your job. You may not resell, republish or redistribute the lessons or course materials as a whole or in substantial part.

Your cloud accounts and costs

Labs ask you to create resources in your own cloud provider account. You are solely responsible for that account, its security, its configuration and any charges your provider bills you. Always review a plan before applying it, and destroy lab resources when you finish.

Payments

Prices are shown on the pricing section of this website. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
  • Do not use the materials to attack, scan or misuse systems you do not own or have permission to manage.
  • Do not use automated tools to download or copy course content in bulk.

Updates to the course

Tools and best practices change. We may update, reorganise or replace lessons to keep the course accurate. We will not remove the core subject matter of the plan you purchased.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The course is provided for educational purposes “as is”. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that every example is suitable for your production environment. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including data loss, downtime or cloud charges, arising from your use of the materials.

Intellectual property

The lessons, labs, illustrations and all other course materials are owned by or licensed to Code the Cloud and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited personal licence only; they do not transfer ownership to you.

Termination

We may suspend or end access for accounts that breach these terms, for example through account sharing or payment fraud. You may stop using the course at any time.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of hosting or payment providers, network failures or natural events.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before taking formal steps.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy and Refund Policies, form the entire agreement between you and Code the Cloud about the course.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use of the course after a change means you accept the updated terms.
